Underpass

Redgate_s_Dungeon.jpgOn the opposite side of the mountain where Redgate sits lies the underpass. A carved stone stair that sharply descends 500 feet ends in a small tunnel carved into the mountain. Each of the four cells is a cavern with all walls, floors and ceiling made of stone save the exterior wrought iron gate. Outside of the underpass lies a single stone well carved from the mountain that drops an additional twelve feet. The oubliette is often saved for the most vile of Redgate’s prisoners, and with the exposure to the desert sun, is often a death sentence
